A night of premeditated promiscuity went drastically askew for a 17-year-old in Beaumont Friday, Jan. 17, as his plans to meet an escort ended with the teen being tied up and tortured for hours by four suspects in a hotel on Interstate 10.

Beaumont Police received a call in reference to an assault around 4 a.m. Jan. 18, hours after the alleged crimes occurred, according to a sworn probable cause affidavit written by Detective Aaron Lewallen. The victim was found with numerous injuries to his head, face and other parts of his body.

The victim advised that he made contact with a female escort he knew as Hannah “Leigh Ann” Bryan, 18, whom he met on the internet, before arranging a meeting via Snapchat for 6 p.m. Jan. 17. The victim met Bryan at America’s Best Value Inn on I-10, along with three other suspects, Dylan Chase Beaumont, 25; Lauren “Sarah” Redman, 28; and Joshua Allen Sees, 22.

After a short period of time being in the room with the four suspects, the victim was asked if he had any money, to which he responded no. That’s when the suspects began acting aggressive toward the 17-year-old victim, the affidavit read. The victim said the suspects tied him to a chair with a nylon rope, then carried the chair and him to the shower and covered him with a sheet.

The victim stated he was able to free himself from the rope, but doing so caused Bryan and Redman to assault him before binding his wrists and ankles. According to the affidavit, the suspects then burned the victim with cigarettes, used a butane lighter to burn his genitals, beat him with a set of brass knuckles, used a syringe to inject cough syrup into the victim’s rectum and forced him to ingest two unknown tablets in an effort to render him unconscious.

The hours of torture didn’t stop there, according to the probable cause affidavit. The victim told investigators Bryan and Redman were also smoking meth and forced him to inhale the smoke and placing a dagger on his throat, threatening to cut or kill him.

Hours after the alleged crimes, the victim stated that Bryan and Beaumont forced him into his own truck and absconded from the hotel. The duo then dumped the teen at Wuthering Heights Park and fled the scene in his white 2000 Ford Ranger. Detective Lewallen learned Beaumont and Bryan had rented a room at the Executive Inn & Suites, where the stolen Ford Ranger was also located.

Bryan and Beaumont were arrested Jan. 21 and charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault and aggravated robbery, each charge carries a $100,000 bond. Lauren Redman was arrested Jan. 28 on the same charges.
