From Motiva:

Motiva can confirm that an employee at Port Arthur Chemicals (PAC) has tested positive for COVID-19. The affected employee is in self-quarantine per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidelines. Immediately upon notification of the potential for exposure, Motiva performed workspace cleaning with CDC-approved sanitizing solutions.

The health and safety of our employees, contractors, and communities remains our priority. Motiva has already implemented a no-contact temperature screening procedure for its Port Arthur manufacturing sites that will continue indefinitely. Every employee and contractor will have his or her temperature checked upon arrival at any of our gates. Only those with temperatures of less than 100 degrees will be allowed to access the refinery or chemical plant. At this time, operations are continuing without interruption.
