For 2013, Dodge Grand Caravan continues to innovate in the minivan segment. It is available in five models: the American Value Package (AVP), SE, SXT, Crew and R/T — with modern design and features inherent in every model.
New for 2013 is a second-row bench seat standard on the AVP. The second-row bench reclines, folds and is removable for added storage when required. Also standard on the AVP are segment-exclusive dual in-floor storage bins. Available on the AVP and standard on the SE, SXT, Crew and R/T is the industry-exclusive Super Stow ‘n Go seating with new one-touch operation.
Other new features for 2013 include a new Black/Sandstorm interior color scheme, standard 17-inch wheels (late availability on AVP models), and new 17-inch aluminum wheels on SXT and R/T.
Under the hood
At the heart of the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan is the award-winning 3.6-liter V-6 engine mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transaxle. This engine was named among the “10 Best Engines” by Ward’s Automotive two years in a row. In the Grand Caravan, the V-6 delivers 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
The fuel economy ratings for Grand Caravan are 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
A front fascia sporting the Dodge signature “split crosshair” grille and quad headlamps gives the face of the 2013 Grand Caravan a sporty feel. A sculpted rear fascia and liftgate and rear LED tail lamps complete the look from front to back.
Owners will step inside to a comfortable interior that features bright accents and soft touches throughout. Additionally, an available “Super” center console provides clever functionality and storage.
