At least one woman was injured after a collision shut down traffic at the intersection of Calder and Willow in downtown Beaumont on Wednesday, March 6.
Police say a white Scion traveling southbound and a grey Honda coupe traveling eastbound collided in the intersection before they both came to rest side-by-side in the middle of rush-hour traffic.
Paramedics said at least one of the drivers was injured and would be seeking medical attention.
Police did not comment on who was at fault, but said a citation was given to one woman as a result of the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
