In an annual pilgrimage visit to 13 different churches around the Golden Triangle on Good Friday, March 29, members of the Knights of Columbus subgroup Knights on Bikes shared a meal and prayer as well as reflected on the Stations of the Cross — moments associated with the historical and Biblical accounts of the trial, condemnation, punishment and death of Jesus. Members of different Councils of the Knights of Columbus who are motorcycle enthusiasts rode from church to church on their motorcycles and then assembled at the Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas Hospitality Center in Port Arthur. The Knights on Bikes shared the standard lunch for center guests that day, a meal that the Knights of Columbus donated. This year a total of 28 people participated in the event, with 21 motorcycles involved. Participants included one priest and two deacons.
