The Annual Girls' Haven Benefit Golf Tournament that will take place Monday, May 13, at the Beaumont Country Club from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Girls' Haven announced in a press release. Last year's event garnered $100,000 for the organization, and this year they hope to raise even more.
The course will open at 11 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. lunch at the Country Club Grill. There will be a shotgun start for all teams at 1 p.m. Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the course, and awards will be presented after 5 p.m. depending on when play ceases.
Girls' Haven Executive Director Alice Teeler said she encourages people to attend for a day of golf and to benefit a good cause.
"Golf for a Cause and help Girls' Haven turn tragedy in triumph for girls in need," Teeler said. "Sign up today as a team or a sponsor. Your help can change the life of adolescent girl."
