A Southeast Texas man is behind bars after hundreds of sadistic images and video of children — some younger than 12 years old — were seized from his home.
The U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced Wednesday, June 19 that 26-year-old Bradlan Darrick Mills pleaded guilty Jan. 17, 2012 to possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield.
According to a press release, a search warrant was executed at Mills’ residence July 28, 2012 and police found a sizable cache of sadistic and masochistic photos of young children.
Several computers and digital storage devises were seized during the search, revealing some 525 images and six videos of child pornography, some depicting children under the age of 12 engaging in sadistic sex acts.
The investigation was conducted with the help of Homeland Security and the Beaumont Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher T. Tortorice.
