Port Arthur Police are investigating the city's second homicide of the year after responding to an assault call Thursday night.
According to a Major Raymond Clark, police responded to a home at 1025 Dunbar around 6:45 p.m. where they found 44-year-old Robert Prevost had been shot and killed. Prevost was discovered by his brother, and apparently had been dead for "several hours" according to Clark.
There was no forced entry into the home and Clark said no suspects have been identified. The Port Arthur Homicide Unit is investigating.
