Get a taste of Branson, Mo., when critically acclaimed comedian Jim Stafford joins forces with renowned entertainer Moe Bandy for a heartwarming evening of country music and homespun humor in their Grand Tour coming to the Julie Rogers Theatre on Friday, Jan. 24, at 7:30 p.m.
Stafford, who has headlined his own theatre in Branson since 1990, creates hilarious antics from everyday life and satirizes the obvious with his music and comedy.
His song “Spiders and Snakes” reached No. 3 on the Billboard country charts in 1974.
Bandy is your original “good ol’ boy” coming from a background of bull riding and steel working before making it big in country music. His songs range from bluegrass to classic country, and his show includes a touch of his famous comedy routines as well. Bandy has a successful solo career and reached success as a duo with Joe Stampley. Jim and Moe’s Grand Tour is a good old-fashioned musical comedy and variety show with a little vaudeville thrown in.
Tickets are $45, $35 or $25 and can be purchased at the Beaumont Civic Center box office or any Ticketmaster outlet. The Julie Rogers Theatre is located at 765 Pearl in downtown Beaumont.
