Three suspects reportedly invaded a Jefferson County residence, attacking and robbing an elderly woman there on Friday, May 16.
According to a report from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, dispatch received a call at 11:53 p.m. in reference to a home invasion/aggravated robbery that had just occurred in the 1100 block of Kotz Road in Nome. The elderly female complainant reportedly awoke to find three unknown armed subjects inside her residence. The subjects assaulted the female occupant while they located and removed a large sum of cash and a flat-screen TV from the residence. The actual robbery occurred between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m., JCSO reports.
The victim was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth hospital for treatment of injuries and was later released.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting that anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the area contact the Detective Division at (409) 835-8411.
