A prostitution sting by officers of the Orange Police Department on June 4 resulted in the arrest of a repeat offender who now faces state jail felony charges, police report.
According to a police report from OPD, at about 11:30 a.m. on June 4, an undercover officer made contact with a suspect, identified by police as 54-year-old Annette Fulcher of Orange, who agreed to engage in sexual conduct with the officer for $20. She reportedly agreed to perform a “sexual act” for the fee.
After making the agreement with the officer, police report, Fulcher entered the undercover officer’s vehicle and the two drove away. At some point they stopped the car and the prostitution arrest team took Fulcher into custody for prostitution. She was taken to the Orange County Jail.
A check of Fulcher’s criminal history reportedly revealed the suspect had in excess of five prior convictions for prostitution, enhancing the charges against her to a state jail felony.
