Bunny brunch … The Beaumont Country Club welcomed more than 500 members and guests to its Gourmet Easter Buffet this past Sunday. As members arrived, they were greeted by the artistic creation of cake designer Ronnie Richardson. The 9-inch cake display featured a realistic bunny and a Faberge egg with the BCC logo. Golfers at the brunch scrambled for the edible golf clubs, balls and bags that sat on the top of a chocolate mousse cake. These cakes tasted as good as they looked. Diners included theTed Harp family, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Buddy Low thoroughly enjoyed the brunch as the Easter bunny made his way around the room and greeted the likes of Judy and George Dishman and their family, Janie and Mark Steinhagen, along with Mary Jane and Bill Benning and their children. Also thrilled with the club’s bountiful spread were Neri and Rudy Sotolongo, Virginia and Jim Austin, Martha and Foxworth, Mary Anne Howell, Kit Ohmstede, and the Lum Edwards and Martin Edwards family. Jay Proctor’s grandchildren were elated as Sallye Keith did a creative magic trick pulling silver dollars from their ears. It was a gorgeous gourmet meal that guests will remember for a long time.
