A Port Arthur man with an outstanding warrant for a parole violation was apprehended by Port Arthur Police late Sunday evening after a burglary in the 1300 block of San Augustine Ave.
In a statement released Sunday evening, Port Arthur police said a neighbor witnessed a man burglarizing the house on San Augustine and called police. The man, who fit the description given by the neighbor, was found a short time after 9:18 pm, with stolen property in his possession that was linked to the residence, the release said. He was taken to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
