Artistic adventures … The first week of Summer ArtVentures Creative Kids Camp at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas is almost over, and that means that many budding young artists will be putting the final touches on their masterpieces and preparing them for viewing. On Friday, AMSET will host the ArtVentures exhibition, where campers who participated in the “Drawing Naturally” course will display their creations. Later that same day, campers who participated in “Brilliant Painters” will present their artwork. Then each Friday through July 15, AMSET will continue to host families and friends for the ArtVentures Friday showcase, as young campers display the results of a week filled with learning about art and using their creative abilities to produce their unique works of art.
