
Outgoing Port Arthur City Councilman Martin Flood is ending his tenure with a thud after he bonded out of the Jefferson County Jail this afternoon after he turned himself in to authorities. A warrant was issued for Flood's arrest today for criminal mischief, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and or a up to a $4000 fine.
According to Port Arthur Police, Flood damaged a car in the Central Mall parking lot to the tune of $1000 that led to the charges being filed.
