Police say an elderly man caused an accident in Port Arthur on Monday night, Sept. 24, after he ran a stop sign, striking the vehicle of another man on his way home from work.
The victim was traveling southbound near the 1400 block of Dequeen
Boulevard when police say a man in a Lincoln Town Car “blew through the stop sign and kept going” down the 2400 block of 14th
Police responded at approximately 6:56 p.m. to find both vehicles totaled in the wreck, which littered the road with debris and glass.
The victim was taken away by ambulance with non-life-threatening neck and back injuries.
