Matt Cross has turned in his resignation and will no longer be the head basketball coach at Lamar State College-Port Arthur.
During his three years as the head coach of the Seahawks, Cross has helped lead the program to a 74-30 won-loss record. His teams provided many milestones in Seahawks program history: First regular-season championship, first Region 14 tournament championship, and first-ever trip to the NJCAA national tournament in Kansas.
