Aggravated assault in Orange leaves man with bleeding chest wound

Police in Orange are investigating an aggravated assault following a disturbance Aug. 18 that left a one man with a bleeding chest wound. 

According to Capt. C.A. Stephenson, officers were dispatched to the 1500 blk. of Main in regards to a large disturbance. Upon arrival at 5:17 p.m., officers observed a 38-year-old white male inside of a vehicle who was bleeding from a wound to the left side of his chest. A female, who was operating the vehicle, drove the injured man to a local emergency center for treatment. The man was stabilized and then transferred to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. His condition remains unknown at this time.

There have been no arrests yet, police report, and the investigation is ongoing by the Detective Division of the Orange Police Department.
