AMSET's Gingerbread House Workshop is Dec. 3

Sweeten up the holiday season with the Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET), by creating a mini winter wonderland at the Gingerbread House Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. Children and their families are invited to design and decorate these sweet holiday gingerbread houses at this annual event.

Paige Neyland of Beaumont, Texas, will once again guide parents and their children in creating frosted and candy coated personalized gingerbread houses; the perfect home decoration for this holiday season.

“The Gingerbread House Workshop is a festive holiday activity that all members of the family can enjoy,” said AMSET Curator of Education/Programs, Christle Feagin. “With the instruction of the talented pastry chef Paige Neyland, families can create original sugar coated gingerbread works of art to display in their homes for the holidays.”

Class size is limited and reservations must be made by Thursday, December 1. All gingerbread for this workshop will be made according to reservations.

Workshop costs for members are $40 for one house or $60 for two houses, and the costs for non-members are $50 for one house or $70 for two houses. To make reservations or learn more information, call (409) 832-3432.
