Another wave of debris removal in Port Arthur

A second wave of debris removal will begin March 12 in the area between 25th Street and SH 73. This will include Foster Estates and the immediate adjacent area. City employees will continue debris removal in the remaining areas throughout the city.

Last month Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) completed the first round of participation with the City of Port Arthur for the removal of debris that included 25th Street between Woodworth and Duff Avenue down toward the ship channel. During this four-week period, TxDOT collected 9,901 cubic yards of debris.
