Jarred Michael Robinson

According to a press release from Sgt. Rob Flores of the Beaumont Police Department, officers arrested a 20-year-old Beaumont resident after he used a knife to cut a man during an argument over a cell phone.

On Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at about 8:08 p.m., patrol officers responded to the reported stabbing at a home in the 8400 block of Glen Meadow.  Officers arrived and found the 34-year-old Beaumont man suffering from lacerations to his left arm, the back of his head, and his right hand.  Beaumont EMS transported the victim to St. Elizabeth ER for treatment of the non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was involved in an argument with Jarred Michael Robinson Jr. about a possibly stolen cell phone.  During the argument, Robinson pulled out a knife and attacked the victim.

Officers located Robinson hiding in the attic of an adjacent house and took him into custody without further incident.  Police then transported Robinson to the Jefferson County Jail and booked him in for one count of aggravated assault.
