Banana was stolen from Gator Country

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in recovering a yellow 16’ Burmese python that is named “Banana”. Banana was stolen from Gator Country located at 21159 Hwy 365 (near the intersection of IH-10 and Hwy 365) Between Sunday, April 22nd at 5:00pm and Tuesday, April 24th at 08:00am. Banana was featured on “Gator 911” and is valued at $5,000.  Banana is described as follows:

                Length: 16 feet

                Sex:            Female

                Color:          Yellow

                Eyes:           Bluish Clear

                Species:        Albino Burmese Python

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS (8477). You identity will remain confidential and Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for the location of “Banana”
