Beaumont PD Searching for Leads After Weekend Murder

The city of Beaumont recorded its fourth homicide of the year this weekend and police are looking for leads and are asking for the public's help as they try to solve the murder of 40-year-old Fedro Gatlin.

Sgt. Pat Barton with the BPD's Criminal Investigation Department said police have people in custody in connection with city's other three homicides.

A Beaumont man, Gatlin was found shot in the head in his vehicle when emergency response personnel arrived. According to police, EMS thought it was responding to an auto accident when it found Gatlin shot and in critical condition. He was taken to Christus-St. Elizabeth where he was taken to surgery but died.
