Beaumont Police search for suspected shooter

Beaumont Police are looking for 67-year-old Beaumont man Angel Marquez Ramirez who is suspected of a shooting in the 4600 block of Ironton Saturday, July 28.

At 7:16 p.m. Beaumont Police Officers responded to a victim of a shooting call in the 4600 block of Ironton. When Officers arrived they located a victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound and advised that the suspect left on foot armed with several weapons. A perimeter was set as officers searched for the suspect, but were unsuccessful in locating him. The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth and listed as critical. 

Through the investigation officers learned that there was a verbal argument between the victim and the suspect who knew each other, which escalated to the suspect shooting the victim. 

Ramirez is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen wearing white plaid colored shirt, blue jeans with tennis shoes and a light blue/grey baseball cap as seen in the picture.
