Capital murder warrants in triple homicide

Latrina Hall and Allen Hancock

Police say they’ve found at least two suspects responsible for a deadly Beaumont shooting.

According to a BPD press release, police have issued a capital murder warrant for 27-year-old Beaumont resident Allen Hancock, who has been incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail for unrelated warrants since July 17.

Police also issued a capital murder warrant for the arrest of Latrina Hall, who was arrested in Port Arthur Tuesday, Aug. 6, and taken to the Jefferson County Jail where she is currently being interviewed by detectives.

Police say the shooting is still under investigation and more arrests are still to come.

Thursday, June 27, 2013 at about 9:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of multiple shooting victims outside a house in the 1000 block of Prairie St. at Park St.  When officers arrived, they discovered five gunshot victims on the Prairie Street side of the residence, under the carport. Three subjects were deceased on the scene: Macgarrett Jack, a 28-year-old resident of Beaumont, Preston Wilson, a 62-year-old resident of Beaumont, and Joshua Ceasar, a 29-year-old resident of Beaumont. Two subjects were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.  Initial reports indicated that the victims were playing dominos under the carport when they were approached by several armed subjects who demanded that the victims “don’t move and give it up.”  After shooting the victims, the actors fled west on Prairie where they may have gotten into a small dark colored S.U.V., which struck a parked vehicle as the driver fled the area.
