Church to hold crawfish benefit for China youth diagnosed with tumor

Cowboy Church On The Rock

Cowboy Church on the Rock will host “Crawfish for Conner” at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 to benefit Connor Stanton, a local six-year-old boy diagnosed with a rare vascular tumor that is currently inoperable.  Connor and his family live in China and he attends China Elementary School. Dinner will include crawfish, corn, and potatoes.

Tickets are $10 per dinner and are available now by calling (409) 289-2400 or (409) 718-2101.  You can also pick up dinners by stopping by during serving times, which will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Long’s Crawfish Farm, Broussard’s Crawfish Farm, Waller Crawfish Farms, HEB,  Neches Engineering, and members of Cowboy Church have graciously donated crawfish, potatoes, corn, drinks and paper goods to make sure this will be a successful benefit.  A special thanks goes to Bud Landry and Wally Istre for the use of their crawfish cooker and their help.  We invite the community to visit with us on Saturday and contribute to this worthy cause.  For more information, you may contact Joel Ford at (409) 656-8599. Cowboy Church on the Rock is 4.5 miles west of Major Drive on Highway 90 at Meeker Road. We would like to thank everyone for the support and contributions.
