Crime Stoppers seeks dangerous felon

Police are asking the community’s help in finding the whereabouts of David Dewayne Disomba, a 21-year-old Port Arthur man wanted for Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Kidnapping and Evading Arrest, among other charges.

Disomba is a 5’11 African American male and is 211 pounds, according to a BPD press release.

Disomba is also a person of interest in a shooting at the Rampart Apartments in Port Arthur and should be considered armed and dangerous, said Street Crimes Investigator Marcelo “Mo” Molfino.

“We need to get ‘em before he kills somebody,” Molfino said.

With all leads exhausted from Disomba’s family and friends, Molfino said he needs the community to help apprehend the fugitive before he commits more violent crimes.

“When people commit these crimes, when they’re on the run and know they’re a fugitive, they become desperate and one crime usually facilitates another crime when money is an issue,” he said.

“When you know you’ve got one that don’t care and they’re violent, you just don’t want to see anyone else get hurt.”

Molfino said a crime stoppers reward of $1,000 is being offered to anyone with information on Disomba’s whereabouts, but more may be available to an anonymous tipster.

“We’re working with other (law enforcement) entities to see if we can actually get more reward money available,” he said.

If you know where police can locate Disomba, contact Beaumont Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS.
