Dairy Queen robbed in Port Arthur

On Dec. 21 at 9:33 p.m., Port Arthur Police officers responded to the Dairy Queen at 3010 39th Street in reference to an aggravated robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers learned that a subject entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot from the restaurant after obtaining an unknown amount of money from the register.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 175 lbs, 5' 9' and wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask. He was also carrying a green backpack.
