Police arrested a suspect (left and top right) in the April 28 robbery of Dollar General, but the suspect in the April 18 robbery of Dollar General (bottom right) is still at large.

Crime Stoppers is searching for the suspects in two separate robberies of the same Dollar General store on East Lucas in Beaumont, Beaumont Police Department Officer Carol Riley reports.

According to Riley, on April 28, a man brandishing a handgun walked in to the store, located at 2730 East Lucas Dr., as employees were closing for the day, at about 9:15 p.m. He demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no patrons present at the store, and no one was injured.

On April 18, BPD officers responded to the same location after a report of robbery. During that incident, officers reported, a man with a gun demanded money as another suspect kept watch. The two fled, but not before one of them was caught on tape.

The suspect in the April 28 robbery was also captured on video. Police are working to positively identify the suspects in both crimes.

Police as that anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects in either of the two robberies call Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS (8477). Calls are anonymous, and callers could be eligible for a cash reward.
