Domino's Pizza delivery man robbed of pizza at gunpoint

On Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at approximately 12:02 a.m.,  BPD patrol officers responded to 2300 block of Pierce in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, a delivery driver for Domino's Pizza, located at 3970 E. Lucas, told officers he had been robbed.

The driver said he was making a delivery to 2365 Pierce and as he exited his vehicle, he was approached by a black male and a black female. He said the male pulled out a small caliber silver automatic handgun and demanded the food.  He complied and both subjects fled on foot west on Pierce and then south on Pittsburgh.

He described the male as being approximately 18 to 19 years of age, slender build, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a white shirt and a baseball cap. He stated that it appeared he had a small afro style haircut underneath the cap. He described the female as being chubby, in her late teens, wearing a blue and white shirt, with short red hair.

The address, 2365 Pierce, was found to be vacant.
