Fugitive extradited from South Carolina

Spartanburg, South Carolina County deputies arrested Curtis Nathaniel Bullman, 43, on a fugitive warrant Monday, June 3 related to an aggravated sexual assault charge in Texas, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

OCSO deputies reportedly contacted Spartanburg County authorities with Bullman’s suspected location, 340 Mitchell Street in Spartanburg. According to the report, Bullman was arrested and booked into to the Spartanburg County Detention Center at approximately 6:49 p.m. Monday evening. 

A news release from OCSO revealed that on Tuesday May 7, OCSO received a call in reference to an Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child that had occurred in Pinehurst, at which point OCSO investigators were contacted and began investigating the incident.  Upon investigation, it was determined that the suspect, identified as Bullman, the child’s stepfather, had allegedly been sexually assaulting the victim since she was 8 years old. She is now 15. 

OCSO issued a warrant on Bullman for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, and on June 3 OCSO investigators flew to South Carolina to meet with authorities in Spartanburg. Deputies located Bullman, formerly of Pinehurst and residing in Spartanburg, and arrested him for the warrant. He is currently in the Spartanburg County Detention Facility awaiting extradition back to Texas.
