Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office are searching for a burglary suspect or suspects who reportedly made a heavy haul recently, stealing several massive pieces of farming equipment from two neighbors with adjoining properties.

According to a news release from Chief Deputy Glenn Blank, the sheriff's office received information regarding burglaries at two different properties located at County Road 701 near FM 1013 West in Kirbyville on April 26. Two adjoining property owners found their storage buildings had been burglarized and several items taken. The items stolen include a Kubota tractor, a Kubota side-by-side, a Honda Rancher ATV, and a Huntsman Zero-Turn lawnmower. Several generators and other tools were also reported missing from the buildings. Investigators believe the items were removed on a large trailer, with the suspect or suspects possibly taking several trips to gather the pilfered goods.

Sheriff Mitchel Newman asks that anyone with information about these burglaries call the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office at (409) 384-5417.
