HEB cuts ribbon to re-open Mid-County store

Michael Lee, unit director for the HEB Mid-County store, cut the ribbon at a re-grand opening celebration of its Mid County store at 4800 B Highway 365 on Jan. 9. “After years of careful planning, we are thrilled to reveal the newly renovated store,” Lee said in a recent release. “Everything about the expanded store, from its design to its fresh offerings, was specifically tailored to meet the needs and desires of this community. The new store format will feature a sushi bar, Cajun/Creole section and a 3,200 square foot “Texas Front Porch” area with décor items, potting soil and ceramics. Other improvements include wider aisles, a larger parking lot and eco-friendly improvements, including highly reflective roofing and energy-saving roll down thermal shades on open front refrigerated display cases to reduce energy usage. The lights in the store will also dim or brighten, adjusting to the natural sunlight. For more information, visit www.heb.com.
