Jasper tattoo shop raided, four arrests

Four people were arrested after a narcotics raid at a Jasper tattoo shop on March 5, reports the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

According to a news release from Lt. Scott Duncan, the Jasper County Sheriff Office, Sheriff Mitchel Newman and Jasper Police Chief McDonald conducted a narcotics raid on March 5 on the Skinz and Needles Tattoo Shop in Jasper, reportedly after conducting a narcotics investigation performed in a joint effort from both entities' narcotics divisions.

There were four arrests made, including the owner of the Skinz and Needles Tattoo Business, reports Lt. Duncan.

Sheriff Mitchel Newman said he would like to ensure the Jasper County residents that he and Chief McDonald are "continuing the fight against drugs in our communities." Sheriff Newman and Chief McDonald said they will be making more narcotics arrests in the near future and beyond.Sheriff Newman said, "As long as they wish to sell illegal narcotics, our narcotics investigators and officers will be more than happy to investigate, and put them where they need to be: Out of our communities."
