The suspect was then seen leaving the complex in a vehicle, and a description of the vehicle was given to officers.

A few moments later, a call was received about a vehicle striking cars in the 1200 block of Williams Avenue. The description fit that from the vehicle involved in the robbery. Officers were already in the area looking for the suspect, and arrived within a few seconds of the second call.
