MKCHS earns service award

Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School has been awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award after being nominated by The Southeast Texas Food Bank. The award recognizes individuals, families and groups who have achieved a certain standard — measured by the number of hours served over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime.

MKCHS is being honored for their service to the SETX Food Bank through the school’s Spring Into Action Day and continued service throughout the year. The award will be received by Campus Minister Debby Moon, along with seniors Natalie Simon, Jude Fuseiler and Owen Sheldon on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
