Mother pleads for justice after senseless murder

UPDATE (Jan. 4, 2018): Beaumont police have obtained a second murder warrant for a suspect in connection with the shooting of 20-year-old Anthony Green Dec. 28, reports Officer Haley Morrow. 

In a news release, Morrow stated that police are searching for David Bryant Parkerson, aka “Lil Dave”, a 22-year-old Beaumont man.

A murder warrant was issued for Desmond Bennet on Dec. 29. The murder warrant for Parkerson followed on Jan. 4.

The investigation is ongoing, and Morrow asks that anyone with information about Desmond Bennett or David Parkerson’s whereabouts or details of this crime call Beaumont police at (409) 832-1234 or Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS (8477).


Police in Beaumont are searching for the suspect they believe shot and killed 20-year-old Anthony Green at a Washington Boulevard car wash Dec. 28, a senseless act the victim’s mother said was over a girl.

Police issued a murder warrant Dec. 29 for the arrest of 22-year-old Beaumont resident Desmond Roshan Bennett, the man they suspect of fatally shooting Green the day before.
