New Hospital District up for discussion at town hall meeting

County Judge Brint Carlton and the Orange County Commissioners would like to invite the public to attend a town hall meeting Thursday, Jan. 26, from 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center, 11475 FM 1442, Orange, Texas 77632.

The town hall meeting's purpose is to discuss the proposed Hospital District and other county business. Discussion of the Hospital District will include how it will work, what it takes to get it started, pros and cons of a Hospital District and how board members get appointed to the district, according to a press release.

"We encourage residents to email their questions prior to the meeting to better serve you," County Judge Brint Carlton said in the announcement.
