The swift action of Beaumont Police officers led to three arrests and the recovery of a stolen vehicle on Jan. 7, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

According to a news release from BPD, shortly after their shift began, officers in Beaumont’s north end were patrolling in the 5000 block of Helbig Road. As they were patrolling, officers identified a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Patrol officers found the vehicle to be occupied by three individuals, one of whom was a suspect in several violent crimes.

Officers were able to identify the occupants of vehicle as 24-year-old Beaumont resident Ronald Barrett, and 26-year-old Beaumont resident Christopher Holman. Barrett was suspected of being involved in stealing the vehicle.

While officers were detaining Barrett and Holman, a woman, later identified as Felicia Brown, approached the vehicle. It was determined that she had multiple city warrants, as well as felony warrants out of Houston.

Barrett was arrested for the multiple outstanding warrants and for possession of marijuana. Holman was arrested for being in possession of an illegal drug, in addition to possessing synthetic marijuana. Brown was arrested for the multitude of warrants she’d accrued, BPD reports. Barrett, Holman, and Brown were all transported to the Jefferson County Jail, and auto theft investigators assisted with the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
