Orange County Sheriff's Office requests help in locating thief who stole from church

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public in locating the suspect or suspects responsible for the Feb. 18 theft a utility trailer from Turning Point Church at 3600 North Main St. in Vidor, reports OCSO.

According to Chief Deputy Clint Hodgkinson, on Feb. 18 at about 11:34 p.m. a dark-colored truck entered the church parking lot with its headlights off and attached the enclosed trailer to the vehicle before driving away with the trailer in tow. The incident was captured on the church's surveillance cameras, but deputies have been unable to locate a suspect as of yet. The trailer is described as a 2008 Blazer enclosed 8-foot utility trailer, white in color, with Texas license plate of 83Z XCS.
