Orange police searching for suspects in residential burglary

Investigators with the Orange Police Department are searching for suspects in a recent burglary at an apartment complex in Orange.

According to a report from OPD, Officer Tim Pruitt was dispatched to the Sabine Park apartments located at 111 Pine Ave. at approximately 6:24 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9. The residents of the apartment told the officer the last time someone had been home there had been on Dec. 8 at about 1 p.m. They discovered the burglary upon their return home at approximately 3 p.m. on Dec. 9.

The unknown actor or actors stole a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol, a 46-inch Sanyo television and a Hewlett-Packard “Envy Rove 20” touch-screen computer.

A neighbor of the victims reportedly told police the victims’ front, west door was swung open, and the neighbor had secured the door on Dec. 8 at about 6 p.m. Police report there was no evidence of forced entry at the home.
