Orange shooting injures two

Officer with the Orange Police Department (OPD) are investigating a shooting at the Sabine Apartments April 29 that sent two men to local hospitals with gunshot wounds, reports OPD. 

According to Lt. G.D. Keaton, officers were dispatched to the apartment complex at 111 Pine Avenue in Orange at 2:37 a.m. Friday morning in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers made contact with two male subjects in the apartment complex who appeared to have been shot. Officers secured the scene for EMS personnel to treat and transport the two individuals to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Statements and photographs were obtained at the scene, and evidence was collected.

Police report the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
