PAPD asking for help locating fugitive

PAPD needs the public’s help locating a wanted fugitive, identified as Charles Nicholas Lock, 32. He has an outstanding warrant for violating his probation by being in possession of a firearm, according to a PAPD press release. He is described as being approximately 5’11” and 180 pounds.

He is also a person of interest in the fatal auto pedestrian accident on Oct. 9. While operating a white Dodge pick-up, investigators believe Lock struck and killed Jamica Thibo in the 3000 block of Savannah Avenue. Lock would then leave the scene without rendering aide, according to the release.

The U.S. Marshals are assisting PAPD in the effort to take Lock into custody for this outstanding warrant.

Contact the Port Arthur Police Department at (409) 983-8639 and request to speak with Det. L. Thomas with any information on Lock or call Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS.
