Pet of the Week: Broke Leg
Hello, my name is Broke Leg. Yes, you read that right. Broke Leg. Despite my unfortunate name, I am a very beautiful girl, both inside and out! The arrangement and variety of colors and patterns on my coat is quite lovely, if I do say so myself. Of course, being a calico, I am prone to being just a bit shy. I hope that you can understand why I am just a little bit wary of people. ... I mean, my previous owner did name me Broke Leg, and then surrendered me to the shelter. If that doesn’t make you just a little bit mistrustful of people, I don’t know what does! I am a very sweet girl, though, once you get to know me and I get to know you. I may not jump right into your lap the moment you meet me, but I can assure you that I am very gentle, loving and cuddly, and I will most certainly spend my life loving you if you agree to do the same. Please come in soon and meet me, and you will see what a wonderful companion I will be. Oh, and feel free to give me a different name as soon as we get home!!
