Crawdad's robbery suspect

Police have arrested a suspect reportedly caught on tape during a robbery at Crawdad's convenience store in Orange Nov. 20 at approximately 11:50 p.m. 

According to a news release from Orange Police Department (OPD) Capt. Robert Enmon, on the night of the aggravated robbery, a male suspect pointed a handgun toward the store clerk and demanded money from the register, fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk can be seen on surveillance video handing over money from the register to a suspect holding the gun. 

Police released video of the robbery Nov. 22, and, with tips received through Crime Stoppers and others, identified the suspect as 29-year-old Junies Nathaniel “Nate” Tims. Detective Corey Foreman secured a warrant for Tims' arrest at about 3 p.m. Nov. 23, and he was taken into custody without incident a short time later at a residence in the 1500 block of 37th Street in Orange. He is said to be cooperating with the investigation.
