A Beaumont man was arrested for murder after police say he shot and killed his wife over the weekend, reports the Beaumont Police Department.

According to a news release from BPD, 40-year-old Raul Castaneda is in custody at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and charged with murdering his 24-year-old wife on March 15.
