Police investigate shooting in Orange

Police in Orange are investigating a shooting that left one man with multiple gunshot wounds, reports Orange Police Department (OPD) Capt. Robert Enmon. 

According to a news release from OPD, officers responded to the 2500 block of Park Avenue in reference to a shooting shortly after 9 p.m. on April 12. When they arrived at the location, they found 23-year-old DeMarcus Rogers suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont for treatment. His condition was unknown at the time of this report. 

The detective division is currently investigating the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at (409) 883-1026.
