Police search for suspects in assault at Parkdale

On Sunday, March 6,  at 5 p.m., Beaumont police officers were sent to investigate a reported assault at Parkdale Mall near the food court.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 20-year-old white male from Orange had been assaulted and robbed. He said that he and his brother were leaving the food court area and walking to his his truck in the parking lot. They were approached by two white males, one of which attacked the victim. The suspect then said he had a gun and took the victim's wallet and money. The second suspect said he had a gun also but neither suspect displayed a weapon.

A witness to the incident told officers he saw the attack and that the victim was struck about ten times. The victim refused EMS at the scene and said he would drive himself to the hospital. He suffered a 2" laceration to his forehead and his nose was swollen and bleeding.

The suspects are described as follows:
