Port Arthur police arrest suspect at Prince Hall Village Apartments

On Jan. 27 at approximately 6:51 p.m., Port Arthur Police Department officers were dispatched to the Prince Hall Village Apartments in reference to locating a suspect, Kaleb Deand're Angelle, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Jefferson County, according to a PAPD release. 

"Angelle is a person of interest in multiple shootings in the city of Port Arthur," City of Port Arthur PIO LaRisa Carpenter said in an email. The investigation is still ongoing, according to Carpenter. 

Officers received information that he was inside one of the apartments at the complex. Officers were able to make entry into one of the apartments where Angelle was taken into custody with no incident to any parties involved. 

He is currently being held at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with a $100,000 bond.
