Say you're sorry! Apology from juvenile offender saves him from theft charges
One man has his bike back and a juvenile has made amends after stealing the man's bicycle in Orange on Saturday, Dec. 14.
According to a police report from the Orange Police Department, Officer Brice Due stopped two juveniles at the Wells Fargo in the 400 block of North 16th Street in Orange in reference to a bicycle stolen from Heaven's Serenity House, a homeless shelter in the 1200 block of West Park Avenue. One of the juveniles admitted to the officer that he had stolen the bicycle because he did not have a ride home.
